About Alcove Craft

Alcove Craft offers polymer clay jewelry, individually designed and handmade by Jeanmarie Vargas in Ravena, NY. Alcove Craft provides an alternative to fast fashion in the creation of small batch, handcrafted, modern statement jewelry. I find inspiration in sculpture, geometry and nature. Each object that I design is an integration of these influences and no two pieces are exactly the same.

PROCESS AND MATERIAL

My pieces are handmade of polymer clay. I mix my own colors and use my own shapes in my jewelry designs. The jewelry pieces are baked in a conventional oven, and are sanded and assembled after baking.
